After playing at Klong Muang Beach for a few hours, we got our suits on and headed into town to check out the more popular Ao Nang Beach. This beach was much more crowded, but the sand was equally as soft and the views were magnificent. We swam, looked for sea shells, and wandered down the beach past a fleet of long tail boats. Much fun was had by the whole family.
At the far end of Ao Nang Beach we found a large family of monkeys hanging out. They made Owen a little nervous, but he found them fascinating nevertheless. Wild monkeys are always fun to see.
After watching the monkeys play a bit (and steal food from other tourists), we grabbed a snack on the beach and then played some more in the ocean.
On our last night in Krabi, which happened to be New Year's Eve, we went into the Ao Nang are for dinner. We got to see another amazing sunset AND we got to watch part of the Packer's game from earlier in the week at the Italian-Thai-Indian restaurant we chose for dinner. It was a great way to end our fabulous stay in Krabi.
